A bench warrant was issued Feb. 27 when Jared Shane Carr, 37, failed to appear for the hearing on three counts of felony armed robbery.

He was picked up and booked into the St. Croix County Jail Friday, March 8.

Carr was arrested Feb. 28 in Chippewa County at the Lake Hallie Walmart after a struggle when he attempted to return a printer that contained photo copies of $100 bills. Carr had more bogus $100 in his possession when he was apprehended, the Eau Claire Leader Telegram said.

Carr was charged in connection with the investigation a Nov. 21, 2011, robbery at a Hudson residence. He allegedly was the driver of a Cadillac Escalade in the incident.
