New University of Wisconsin football coach Gary Andersen spoke at the annual Northwest Badger Golf Classic held Monday, June 10, at the River Falls Golf Club.

The event, to benefit the Badger football program, also featured appearances by 1999 Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, voice of Badger football and basketball Matt Lepay and Paul Bunyan's Axe, the traveling trophy that goes to the winner of the Wisconsin-Minnesota game in the oldest rivalry in NCAA Division I football.
