A primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 16, will narrow the field of six Hudson Board of Education candidates to four for the spring election on April 6.
Polls at municipalities within the Hudson School District - the city of Hudson, village of North Hudson and towns of Hudson, St. Joseph and Troy - be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters will be asked to choose two of the six candidates, with the top four vote-getters advancing to the spring election. At that time, two will be elected to the board.
The candidates are incumbents Cindy Crimmins and Mark Kaisersatt, and first-time candidates Jim Bartlein, John Engle, Pat German and Lester German.
School board members have a three-year term.
