School starts Sept. 2

Summer vacation officially ends next week on Tuesday with the first day of classes in the Hudson School District.

The 2008-09 calendar includes 178 student contact days. Holidays and vacations include teacher convention break Oct. 9-10, Thanksgiving Nov. 26-28, winter break Dec. 22-Jan. 2, teacher inservice Jan. 26, and March 2-6 for spring break. The last scheduled day of classes is June 11.

The calendar also includes several days with both early release and late start for additional staff development.

School hours are as follows:

  • Hudson High School, 7:30 a.m.-2:35 p.m.
  • Hudson Middle School, 7:30 a.m.-2:34 p.m.
  • Rock Elementary, 8:55 a.m.-3:40 p.m.
  • North Hudson Elementary, 8:55 a.m.-3:40 p.m.
  • Hudson Prairie Elementary, 8:55 a.m.-3:40 p.m.
  • River Crest Elementary, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
  • Willow River Elementary, 8:40 a.m.-3:25 p.m.
  • Houlton Elementary, 8:55 a.m.-3:40 p.m.
  • St. Patrick's School, 8:40 a.m.-3:25 p.m.
  • Trinity Lutheran School, 8:40 a.m.-3:25 p.m.
