Sculpture in the show ranges from small tabletop pieces to large free-standing constructions. Various media are represented, including bronze, stone, fabricated metal, metal casting, ceramic, glass, and wood. Ruth Misenko, owner of Seasons on St. Croix Gallery, and Margaret Welshons, coordinator of the Healing Arts Program at Hudson Hospital, juried the exhibition. They will attend the closing reception to present awards for the top sculptures.

The Society of Minnesota Sculptors was founded in 1943 by a group of prominent art educators in Minneapolis. Since then, it has grown to nearly 100 members throughout the state. The Society's mission is to encourage and help member sculptors do their best work, achieve recognition, and feel gratification from what they create. The Society's website is www.mnsculptors.com.

Galleries hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday noon to 4:30 p.m., as well as one hour before and through intermission of all performances in The Phipps theaters.
