"It's like he fell off the face of the earth," Rose said.

Wobig is described as a white male 5-foot-8, 180 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was born Aug. 12, 1962. He was wearing a Raiders jacket and usually wears a ball cap, according to a flyer distributed by the Wisconsin DCI.

"Wobig was facing foreclosure and was going through a divorce at the time, but he was very close to his three sons. In fact one son he talked to five or 10 times a day said he sounded depressed. He was going to meet his son in Hudson Feb. 3, 2012, but he never showed up," said Rose.

Rose said Wobig had friends in Montana who were contacted by law officers but they had not heard from him.

Wobig's car was left at his Baldwin home. "Somebody had to give him a ride," said Rose.

Anybody with information about Wobig should contact Investigator Cary Rose of the St. Croix County sheriff's office at (715) 381-4387.
