Six Raiders All-BRC softball
Senior Kindra Witthus earned All-Big Rivers Conference honors for the fourth straight season while five other Raiders were named to 2013 All-BRC teams for the first time by the conference coaches earlier this month.
Witthus, a four-year starting catcher for the Raiders, was named to the All-BRC First Team while freshman pitcher and shortstop Jordan Little and sophomore pitcher Kendra Little were named to the Second Team and senior outfielder Meghan Eisenmann, senior first baseman Serena Schultz and junior outfielder Cheyanne Massie received Honorable Mention.
Witthus was named to the All-BRC First Team for the third straight year after earning Second Team honors as a freshman in 2010. She also earned Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association All Northwest and WFSCA All-State honors for the third time this season. She will attend St. Francis University (Penn.) on a Division I softball scholarship in the fall.
Jordan Little just missed earning a spot on the All-BRC First Team as a freshman, finishing as the top vote-getter on the Second Team after leading the Raiders with six home runs and a .563 batting average this season.
Kendra Little received the third most votes on the Second Team.
The Raiders finished the 2012 season with a record of 12-5 overall, 8-4 and in third place in the BRC standings. They won a WIAA regional championship before losing to BRC champion Chippewa Falls in the sectional semifinals.
