New Richmond girl, 14, charged with attempted homicide

Snow expected in winter that won't leave

It's the winter that won't let go.

The National Weather Service says most of Wisconsin will get a mix of snow and rain today (Monday) mainly in the afternoon.

Up to an inch could stick to grassy areas in southern Wisconsin. And central areas might get up to 2 inches.

Lesser amounts are expected in the northwest and the Milwaukee area.

Because the ground's so warm, the snow should not be a problem on the roads.

But it will be a big problem for our psyches, because it's officially been spring for about five weeks now.

A trough of low pressure is bringing the new snow.

The storm will clear out tonight.

High pressure will push temperatures back into the 40s Tuesday, and the 50s on Wednesday.
