Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources said two riders were killed this past weekend.

Robert England Jr., 73, of Peshtigo died after his snowmobile hit a tree off a rural road in the Marinette County town of Grover.

James Weymiller, 44, of La Crosse was killed Sunday when his machine hit a tree north of Holmen.

A preliminary autopsy report said his blood alcohol level was 0.36, 4.5 times the minimum level for drunk driving of 0.08.
