The second-seeded Raiders rolled over No. 15 Menomonie, 12-0, in last Tuesday's regional semifinal before disposing of No. 7 Wausau West, 5-1, in Thursday's regional final game.

Hudson will host No. 3 D.C. Everest in a sectional semifinal Thursday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. at the middle school field. D.C. Everest advanced with an 8-0 win over No. 14 Superior and a 2-0 victory over No. 6 Chippewa Falls.

Top-seeded Eau Claire Memorial will host No. 4 Marshfield in Thursday's other sectional semifinal. The semifinal winners will square off Saturday at 1 p.m. in Chippewa Falls for a berth in next week's state tournament.

Last Thursday against Wausau West, David Nettleton gave the Raiders a 2-0 lead with a pair of first-half goals. Chris Berglund made it a 3-0 game with a beautiful header off a corner kick from Nick Lund early in the second half.

Hudson extended its lead to 4-0 when Noah Harmon sent a cross in front of the goal from an extreme angle and the ball ricocheted off a Wausau West defender and Hudson's Kenzie Lund and through the Warrior goalkeepers hands into the net.

Wausau West got on the board with a goal with 6:07 remaining, but Kenzie Lund scored off a breakaway with just over three minutes left to make the final 5-1.

Hudson outshot the Warriors 15-5 while improving to 14-3-3 on the season.
