Email News Alerts

St. Patrick Catholic Church's Fall Fest has been an annual celebration of fellowship in Hudson for many years, and the addition of Saturday morning foot races four years ago added another popular event to the weekend of family fun.

This year, the races are bigger and better, as a gorgeous 10K route has been added to the choice of distances for both competitive racers and casual runners.

The events will take place Saturday, Sept. 19.

The 5K and 10K races start at 9 a.m. and the kids' half-mile fun run at 10:45.

Participants in the 5K and 10K races are guaranteed a T-shirt if they pre-register before Sept. 11. Early registration also qualifies runners for the reduced race fee of $10.

The fee for 5K and 10K participants after the Sept. 11 cut-off date is $15. The kids' fun run is free.

Registration and packet pick-up is offered from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, and from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. the morning of the races. Registration will close promptly at 8:30.

Registration forms are available on the parish Web site, www.stpatrickofhudson.org, under the Fall Fest link, or on www.raceberryjam.com.

Awards will be given to overall race winners and age category champions. Free showers will be available after the race at the St. Croix Valley YMCA for any Fall Fest runner with a photo ID.
