Authors John and Alice Ridge of Eau Claire display an official Yellowstone Trail sign. The Ridges wrote the book "Introducing The Yellowstone Trail: A Good Road from Plymouth Rock to Puget Sound." They talked about the trail, and showed a video about it, Saturday at First Baptist Church. The trail passed by the church on old U.S. Hwy. 12, now Vine Street. Photos by Randy Hanson

Classic car shows Friday night on Locust Street and Saturday on Walnut Street were particularly well attended.

The weekend activities also included a dinner, games and music cruise aboard the Afton Princess, an old-fashioned road rally, a pie and ice cream social, author talks and more.
