Sustain Hudson Earth Day Art Fair is this weekend

“About a thousand students submitted terrific artwork for display in Sustain Hudson’s seventh annual Earth Day Art Fair,” said Sustain Hudson President Stewart Erickson about this weekend’s events. “This year offers the best art yet, based on the theme birds without borders, highlighting the importance of our migratory bird migration.”

He said many local businesses have the artwork on display.

“Many thanks to the business owners, teachers, volunteers and students from Sustain Hudson,” Erickson said.

Sustain Hudson will be selling rain barrels at the Spring Showcase Sunday to fund local sustainability grants and/or for rain barrels contact Erickson (715) 386-3565.

Migratory bird events will be Saturday and Sunday at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

Earth Day Art Fair Display Locations include the following businesses: Hudson Hospital, Cold Stone Creamery, Dunn Brothers, Erberts and Gerberts, County Market, Family Fresh, Fresh & Natural Foods, Papa Murphy's, U.S. Post Office, RJ’s Meats, Hudson Bagel, Key’s Café, YMCA, Smilin' Moose, SubHouse, Ala Mode, Art Doyle’s Spokes and Pedals, The Purple Tree, Dairy Queen, Knoke’s, Chapter 2 Books, Angel's Pet World, Freestyle Yogurt, Carbone’s, Burkhardt Cenex and Huepfel Dental.

Student art work from Hudson Middle School, River Crest Elementary, E.P. Rock Elementary, Houlton Elementary and St. Patrick School will be shown.
