Swimmers edge River Falls in Big River's Conference meet

Every point counted for the Raider girls' swimming and diving team Thursday in its Big Rivers Conference dual meet at River Falls.

The Raiders won eight of the evening's 12 events, but the score remained close throughout the meet. In the final event of the night, the team of Ebonee Townsend, Kayla Lorenz, Megan Haney and Ronni Schoenherr picked up two crucial points in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 4 minutes, 12.32 seconds.
