Hudson was without the services of Campbell Fall, Jay Skinner and Gabe Dwyer Saturday and lost Luke Wusterbarth to illness during the meet but still compiled 202 points, good for third place. Eau Claire was first with 396 followed by Chippewa Falls with 303.

Last Tuesday, with a full squad, the Raiders gave Stillwater, Minn., all they could handle in a nonconference dual loss. Hudson took first in seven of 11 swimming events and Dwyer finished second in diving, but Stillwater's huge roster gave it the depth it needed to hold off the Raiders for the win.

Charlie Skinner and Luke Wusterbarth each had a pair of first place finishes for Hudson. Skinner won the 200 individual medley in 2 minutes, 6.05 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 55.78 seconds, while Wusterbarth took first in the 50 freestyle in 24.1 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 51.76.

Jay Skinner won the 200 freestyle in 1:54.29 and took second in the 500 free in 5:02.3.

Hudson's relay teams picked up a pair of victories as well. Lucas Rukavina, Zachary Dahl, Charlie Skinner and Jay Skinner opened the meet with a first place time of 1:47.11 in the 200 medley relay, while Charlie Skinner, Fall, Wusterbarth and Jay Skinner ended the meet by winning the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:28.22.

Saturday in Eau Claire, Charlie Skinner had the Raiders' best individual finishes of the day with a third place time of 2:06.17 in the 200 individual medley and a third place time of 5:09.29 in the 500 freestyle.

He also teamed up with Conner Satterfield, Rukavina and Winter Jorgenson in the 400 freestyle relay to place third with a time of 3:36.15. Rukavina, Dahl, Charlie Skinner and Jorgenson took fourth in the 200 medley relay in 1:49.89.

Robbie Lorenz boosted the Raiders' team score with a fifth place time of 1:02.77 in the 100 butterfly.

Thursday night, Jan. 28, the Raiders will host Chippewa Falls in the final home dual meet of the season at 6:30 p.m. It is also Senior Night, where Fall, Lorenz, Satterfield and Jay Skinner will be recognized in the final home meet of their high school careers.
