Funeral services for Theodore E. "Ted" Iverson, 61, of Kirbyville, Mo., were Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson, Mo. Rev. Melvin Hatten officiated with burial following in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Military honors were by the Korean War Veterans Association, Harry S. Truman Chapter #5. Services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
Mr. Iverson passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2008.
Ted was born May 2, 1946, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., to Theodore and Phyllis Bernice Henning Iverson. He graduated from the Chetek High School, Chetek, Wis.
He served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Ted owned and operated his own company. He was a finish carpenter and a jack of all trades. He lived in the Wisconsin area of Hudson, then moved to Grand Canyon, Ariz., and moved to the Kirbyville area about three years ago.
He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church, Branson.
Ted married Rebecca Ann Masters on Aug. 31, 1988, in Grand Canyon. This past summer they had celebrated 19 years together.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Becky, of the home; two sons, Tracy Iverson and wife Shannen of Somerset, Wis., Ted Iverson of the home; two daughters, Anitra Iverson of Hudson, Wis., Christina Iverson of the home; one brother, James and wife Sherry Iverson of Cornwell, Wis.; four sisters, June and husband Dan Venske of Midland, Texas, Joyce and husband Dwayne Tidline of Menomonie, Wis., Carol and husband Bill Martin of Glendale, Ariz., Rose Hewitt of Racine, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
