Three teens from River Falls injured in midnight accident
Three teenagers from River Falls were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident at approximately 12:05 a.m. Monday in Clifton Township.
A report from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department said the teens were in a black SUV driven by Faron Fuller II, 16. The other two teens were Matthew Finley and Matthew Johnson; both are 17 and were passengers in the vehicle.
The reports says that the crash occurred east of Highway 29 on 690th Street - just southwest of River Falls.
The vehicle was eastbound on 690th Street when Fuller lost control on a curve. The SUV entered the ditch on the north side of the road, struck a mailbox and then rolled two times coming to rest upright on its wheels.
A nearby resident heard the crash and came to the aid of the youths. All three were transported to River Falls Area hospital in a private vehicle.
According to the sheriff's department, Johnson and Finley received only minor injuries. Fuller was kept at the hospital for treatment and observation, but was later released, according to hospital officials.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
