Sealed bids for the construction of Tower Road, for the Town of Troy in one contract, as follows:
Metal Culverts........ 600 lf
Common Excavation.... 10,000 cy
Granular Subbase...... 5,500 cy
Concrete Curb & Gutter....... 1,400 lf
Base Aggregate Dense.......... 3,800 cy
3" HMA Pavement............. 1,300 sy
Restoration................. 17,000 sy
Beamguard.................... 400 lf
Pulverize Asphaltic Pavement...... 7,000 sy
will be received by the Town Clerk, Town of Troy, at the Town Hall, 654 Glover Road, Hudson, WI 54016, by 10:00 a.m., local time, March 27, 2008, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of opening. The Town of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
