The United Fund of Troy Township is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1968. Its purpose is to request monetary donations from residents of the town of Troy from September to March. At the annual meeting in April of each year, funds are distributed to local non-profit agencies serving Hudson and River Falls communities.

Donors may also request that donations go to specific organizations. The only expenses incurred by the organization are for licensing from the State and mailing cost for the annual fund drive.

The United Fund of Troy Township board is made up of the following officers: Phyllis Albert, chair; Wally Riedel, vice-chair; Nicole Bradford-Albert, secretary; Gene Tschump-erlin, treasurer; and board members, Marie Nelson, John Huber, Sue Warren, Ken Schoettle and Ruth Nelson. The board is always looking for residents of the town to serve on the board. Anyone with interest may contact any of the board members.

The Christian Food Cupboard of Hudson operates out of the lower level of St. Patrick Church at 1500 Vine St. and serves people in need in the Hudson School District. Donations of food or money to the Food Cupboard are always welcome and can be dropped of at any church in the community.
