Update: 16-year-old drivers involved in crash at Carmichael and Center Drive
The two SUVs that collided on Carmichael Road and Center Drive shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, were driven by 16-year-olds, Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen reported.
Neither of the drivers, nor a 17-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles, were injured, Jensen said.
According to the report by the officer who investigated the accident, the female driver of a Suzuki XL.7 was northbound on Carmichael Road and attempted a left turn onto Center Drive in front of a southbound Ford Expedition driven a 16-year-old male.
The Ford hit the Suzuki, forcing it into the base of a lightpost next to the Fairfield Inn hotel.
There was female passenger in the Ford Expedition.
