Neither of the drivers, nor a 17-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles, were injured, Jensen said.

According to the report by the officer who investigated the accident, the female driver of a Suzuki XL.7 was northbound on Carmichael Road and attempted a left turn onto Center Drive in front of a southbound Ford Expedition driven a 16-year-old male.

The Ford hit the Suzuki, forcing it into the base of a lightpost next to the Fairfield Inn hotel.

There was female passenger in the Ford Expedition.
