AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH HUDSON, WISCONSIN

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of North Hudson wishes to amend Chapter 94 Utilities, Section 94-32 New water service hookup charges, of the Village of North Hudson Municipal Code. (Deleted language is struck through, amended language is underlined. Section 94-32 (b) (1), (2), and (3) below have all been deleted.)

NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the Village of North Hudson do ordain as follows:

Section 94-32. New water service hookup charges.

b) High-level water system connections.  In addition to the basic new water service hookup fees set forth in subsection (a) of this section, no building shall be connected to the high-level water system (being that part of the water system in the northerly and easterly parts of the village for which additional pressure has been provided by the booster pumping station adjacent to the intersection of Sommers Street and Tenth Street, and the elevated storage tank in the southeasterly corner of the NW  1/4 of NE  1/4 of Section 13, T29N, R20W), nor building permit issued for such building, until the following fees have been paid to recover the cost of such booster pumping station and elevated storage tank: 

1. For any residential building or use, the amount specified in chapter 62 per dwelling unit.

2. For any nonresidential building or use, the amount determined by multiplying the amount specified in chapter 62 times the ratio that the estimated water usage of such nonresidential building or use bears to the average water usage of a one family residence.

3. For any combined residential and nonresidential building or use, the amount determined by applying the provisions of subsections (b)(1) and (b)(2) of this section to the respective portions.

Adopted by the Village Board this 31st day of March, 2009.
