Volleyball improves as week goes on

The Raider volleyball team got off to a slow start last week, dropping a 3-0 decision at home to Rice lake on Tuesday, but gradually improved and ended up finishing fifth at Saturday's Cretin-Derham Hall Tournament in St. Paul.

Head coach Dennis Saathoff said the Raiders had more service reception errors than any match this year against Rice Lake, which slowed their offensive attack. Scores of the match were 23-25, 10-25, 16-25.
