Walker declared winner in recall election
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and other national media outlets have declared Gov. Scott Walker to be the winner in Tuesday's recall election.
With 37 percent of state precincts reporting, Walker has 59 percent of the votes, to Tom Barrett's 40 percent. Barrett leads in only seven of Wisconsin's 72 counties. As of 9:15 p.m., Walker had 467,293 to Barrett's 319,456.
