Wausau couple accused in daughter's death about to lose one of their homes
The Wausau area couple convicted of reckless homicide in the death of their daughter are about to lose one of their homes.
U.S. Bank has filed a foreclosure suit against Dale and Leilani Neumann. It said the couple defaulted on a $250,000 loan for one of their two homes. And they owe about $259,000.
The Neumanns were convicted this summer for praying instead of getting medical help for their daughter Kara, 11.
She died on Easter Sunday of 2008 from complications of diabetes that were never diagnosed until it was too late.
Both parents face up to 25 years in prison when they're sentenced on Oct. 6. Before their trials, the Neumanns said they were having financial problems and they expected a foreclosure suit on one of their homes.
