The eighth annual Willow River Music and Art Show has become a rite of spring for families and neighbors of the school.

Student work is created around a theme with help from parent volunteers and coordinated by art teacher Jodi Youngman.

The event is also a showcase for student performers who play, sing and dance for an appreciative audience. That portion of the show was coordinated by Willow River music teacher Lindsey Jentzsch.

Both professional and student work is for sale with some of the proceeds benefitting the Willow River Parent Group, which funds a variety of projects at the school.

Since it began eight years ago, the event has been coordinated by Willow River parent and professional artist Genie Castro.
