Wisconsin B.A.S.S. Federation junior bass fishing tournament in Hudson on Saturday

Joshua Lee of Star Prairie is the reigning Wisconsin B.A.S.S. Federation Junior state champion.

Hudson will be the site for the 2011 Wisconsin B.A.S.S. Federation junior state fishing tournament this Saturday.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning on the St. Croix River. Boats are scheduled to depart from the public landing at Hudson's Lakefront Park. The weigh-in to decide the state champion will be held at Lakefront Park at 2 p.m. on Saturday. A meeting for all of the tournament entrants will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Hudson House in Hudson.

Forty-two young anglers are scheduled to compete in the tournament, which is being hosted by the Indianhead Bassers Fishing Club. Fifteen of the young fishermen are from the local area. Among them is Joshua Lee of Star Prairie, who is the reigning state champion.
