Eight teams will square off in a double-elimination tournament at Fox Cities Stadium.
Kean College will open the proceedings at 10 this morning against Chapman of California.
Top-ranked Chapman is making its fourth straight appearance in the finals.
Adrian and Johns Hopkins will square off at 1:15. Adrian is the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team to make the Division 3 World Series.
UW-Whitewater will open at 4:30 p.m. against Linfield of Oregon.
The Warhawks are 6-2 in national finals’ play since 2004. Former Yankees’ infielder Scott Brosius manages Linfield – where he played for three years.
Tonight (Friday) at 7:45 p.m. Trinity of Connecticut faces Cortland State of New York. Trinity is 41-0 while Cortland has a 38-game winning streak.
