After three rain delays, the race was finally called on Lap 227 of 400.
David Reutimann had the lead at the time, and was declared the winner.
Kenseth won this year's Daytona 500 in a similar fashion.
Monday, he moved up 20 places from his starting spot and he moved up one spot to ninth in the Sprint Cup season point standings.
Paul Menard of Eau Claire placed 30th, and he remains 33rd in the point totals.
Jeff Gordon remains the Sprint Cup leader.
In the Nationwide Series, Wausau native Scott Wimmer rose one spot to 26th in the point totals, after placing 28th in Saturday's Carquest Auto Parts 300 in Charlotte.
Menard went up one place to 38th in the Nationwide totals, after taking 21st in the Carquest race.
