The three-time MVP says he’s doing all he can to put himself in a position to return. And he promises a final answer by July 30, on whether he’ll sign with the Minnesota Vikings and join their training camp on that day.
Favre, 39, threw fast, solid spirals to high school and college players yesterday in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The former Packers’ quarterback says he’s been throwing for three days a week and he just added a fourth workout on Sunday.
The New York Jets released Favre earlier this year, clearing him to sign with the Vikings or anybody else willing to bring him in.
He had surgery in late May to fix a biceps tendon that bothered Favre late last season.
