Phillips man charged in shooting of ex-girlfriend and death of her mother
A northern Wisconsin man has been charged for allegedly wounding his ex-girlfriend and killing the woman’s mother at a home in Prentice.
A northern Wisconsin man has been charged for allegedly wounding his ex-girlfriend and killing the woman’s mother at a home in Prentice.
James LaHoud, 41, of Phillips was charged Wednesday in Price County with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide. Authorities said LaHoud shot and killed Charlotte Engle, 58, Sept. 10 at her home, and he wounded Sarah Engle, 34.
LaHoud was arrested the next day.
Authorities say Sarah is still hospitalized.
