Badgers to get Goins back, Bielema called worst coach in college football

University of Wisconsin corner Mario Goins is expected to return on Saturday at Indiana.
The red-shirt freshman has been out since Oct.18 when he suffered a concussion in the Badgers’ loss at Iowa. Badgers’ Secondary Coach Kerry Cooks says he’s glad to have Goins back.
Goins has started six games, and he splits time with sophomore Niles Brinkley – who has played inconsistently in Goins’ absence.
Brinkley joined the defense this year after being a receiver and he has played the last two games from start to finish. He played well in Wisconsin’s win over Illinois, but last Saturday at Michigan State, Brinkley got beat on a 35-yard pass play and he committed two pass interference penalties and holding call.
Brinkley has 29 tackles and three interceptions and coach Bret Bielema says he’ll only get better. Goins has 19 tackles and one pass break-up.
Bielema criticized
Despite a still-impressive won-loss record, some Badger fans may agree with the assessment of college football columnist Pete Fituak.
Writing for CollegeFootballNews.com, Fituak ranks Wisconsin's Bret Bielema as doing the worst job of coaching in the country.
Fituak says Bielema is better than the job he has done in the Badger's 4-5 season, but points out that the wrong decision was made to start Allan Evridge at quarterback, the defense has problems tackling and no adjustments were made to stop the collapse against Michigan.
Fituak lists Michigan's Rich Rodriguez third on the list of bad coaching jobs and, he does say he expects Bielema to keep his job at Wisconsin.
