The 14-year-old Circle Pines, Minn., girl critically injured early Tuesday when her mother's car overturned on I-94 died Tuesday evening at Regions Hospital.
Tessa Christine Moen was pronounced dead about 7 p.m., the State Patrol reported Wednesday.
Tessa's mother, Lisa J. Moen, 46, was killed in the 2:25 a.m. crash. Another child, Cory, 16, was transported to the Baldwin hospital where he was treated and released.
The family was en route to Minnesota from a vacation in Florida when the accident occurred.
Trooper Bill Traynor said Moen was westbound in her 2004 Buick when she ran onto the shoulder then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll through the median before coming to rest on its roof in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 22.
