Sheriff’s deputies said a 16-year-old boy was riding alone when his snowmobile struck a drainage ditch and veered out of control.
The youngster died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. in the town of Eldorado, about 12 miles south of Oshkosh.
