Necedah’s Sauter moves up to 18th in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Johnny Sauter of Necedah has moved up one place to 18th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck standings.

That’s after he took 13th over the weekend in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte.

Meanwhile, the Sprint Cup drivers will spend the week getting ready for one of the top events of the year, next Sunday’s Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte.

Matt Kenseth of Cambridge will try to improve on his No. 10 spot in the Sprint Cup point standings.

On Saturday night, Kenseth blew the lead in the final two laps of the All-Star Challenge exhibition at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte and Tony Stewart came from behind to win his first race as an owner.
