Juan Pablo Montoya had led for 116 of the 160 laps, but he dropped down after being penalized for speeding on pit road.
Tony Stewart still leads the point standings.
Meanwhile, Kenseth is losing the only main sponsor he's ever had in more than a decade of Sprint Cup racing. His team said during the weekend that DeWalt Tools, who sponsored Kenseth's No. 17 car, would pull out at the end of the season.
The 2003 champion called called it a "sign of the times." He understood that the tool business is weak right now, due to a lack of home construction.
Geoff Smith, head of Roush Fenway Racing, said a new sponsor is being sought for Kenseth.
