The Wisconsin football team will try to stay within a game of first place in the Big Ten when it hosts Iowa on Saturday.
The Badgers are 2-1. And they’ll face a Hawkeye squad that’s 2-0 in the league and 6-0 overall, with a No. 11 national ranking and a 10-game winning streak dating back to last fall.
Five of Iowa’s six games this year were decided in the fourth quarter with a solid defense and strong special teams.
Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt says the Badgers will play harder than ever against Iowa and they’ll come together after a disappointing loss at Ohio State last weekend.
Wisconsin will have its bye week after Saturday.
After that, Wisconsin will have four Big Ten opponents with a combined record of just 2-7 in league play – Purdue, Indiana, Michigan and Northwestern.
