Survived by son, Carl, of Franklin; grandson, Ryan of Brookfield; and sister, Anita Gilbert of Joplin, Mo.

Binnie and Carl were lifelong residents of Hudson (60 years), where Carl was in the grocery business and Binnie was a photo colorist and then a homemaker for the rest of her life. Both Carl and Binnie were involved in the Hudson community for many years and enjoyed living here with all of their friends. Binnie spent the last seven years of her life at Pine Ridge/Christian Community Home and enjoyed working in the garden, playing bingo and mingling with all of the residents.
Memorials can be directed to Pine Ridge/Christian Community Home and earmarked to beautify the garden that she so loved and that she would want the rest of the residents to enjoy for years to come. A thank you to all of the employees of both Pine Ridge/Christian Community Home for taking such great care of her. It is deeply appreciated.
A funeral service was Monday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Bakken-Young Funeral Home in Hudson.
Visitation was one hour before the service.
