The Milwaukee Bucks ended a four-game losing streak Tuesday night, beating New York 119-115 in overtime at the Bradley Center.

The Bucks trailed by double-digits in the fourth quarter, but came back with an 11-2 run.

Quentin Richardson missed a free throw for the Knicks to send the game into overtime.

Bobby Simmons then scored the first four points of the extra period to put Milwaukee in front for good.

Rookie point guard Ramon Sessions ran the Bucks’ offense for 34 minutes getting four points and six assists.

Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 36 points, nine assists and six rebounds.

Andrew Bogut had 24 points and 13 boards, wearing a protective mask following his recent nasal surgery.

Richardson scored 22 for the Knicks, who have now lost eight of their last nine and five straight on the road.

The Bucks won for only the second time in their last 12 games, but they went back above .500 at home at 19-18. They’ll play at Washington tonight (Wednesday).

Lost hope

The Bucks have lost all hope of attracting Donnie Walsh as their new general manager.

The New York Knicks will announce today that the 67-year-old Walsh will become their new team president.

The two sides reportedly agreed to a three-year, $15-million-dollar contract on March 24, but negotiations continued for eight days to firm up the final details.

Walsh left the Indiana Pacers last week after being with the club for 24 years, most recently as its chief executive. He had been mentioned as a possible replacement for Larry Harris soon after the Bucks fired him in late March.

In New York, Walsh will replace Isiah Thomas who had been the Knicks’ president since 2003.

He has also coached the team the last two seasons, and that status remains in doubt as well.

Thomas has led New York to a 20-54 record this year – the second-worst in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
