CITY OF HUDSON: INVITATION TO BID

2008 1 TON CAB AND CHASSIS TRUCK 

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the city of Hudson Public Works Department in the City Clerk’s office, at City Hall, 505 Third Street, until 10:00 a.m. Friday the 18th day of April, 2008.

It is the intent of the Hudson Public Works Department not to be restrictive to any one manufacturer. However, the truck desired must meet the following standards; any truck furnished that does not comply with the specifications will be rejected and returned to the bidder at their expense. All items appearing in the regular specifications that are in addition to these standards are assumed to be included in the bid proposal.

- Extra heavy duty suspension.

- Work truck pkg.

- Minimum 300hp diesel engine.

- 5 speed automatic transmission.

- Air conditioning.

- Cruise control.

- Dual tires on rear suspension.

- Four wheel drive.

- Towing package with brake controller installed.

- Am/Fm stereo.

- Minimum 25 gallon fuel tank.

- All Quotes Shall be FOB Hudson, WI & Estimated Delivery Date.

- Include Line Item Sheet with Costs Itemized.

The City of Hudson reserves the right to waive any irregularities and informalities; to reject any or all proposals and to accept such proposal or proposals or various options of such proposal or proposals which, in its opinion, is the most advantageous to the City of Hudson Public Works Department.
