Take open book look, or view Board of Review

The town of Hudson will hold its open book session for review of appraisal information at the Town Hall, 980 County A, on May 14 from noon to 7 p.m.

The Board of Review will then commence and is set for June 3 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m., the Town Board decided at its regular monthly meeting.

In other matters, the board:

* Approved the chairman’s appointment of Fred Dietz and Dave Bartizal to the Plan Commission;

* Approved the purchase of five picnic tables for use with the second pavilion building in the park adjacent to the Town Hall, not to exceed $3,000, with the money to come from park funds; and

* Approved moving language involving nuisance ordinance violations and penalties into chapter 32 of the ordinance book, rather than under current location A113, because they technically are penalties, not fees.
