Work by over 220 high school students from 18 area high schools is on view through April 20 in The Galleries of The Phipps Center for the Arts, 109 Locust St.

Work by over 220 high school students from 18 area high schools is on view through April 20 in The Galleries of The Phipps Center for the Arts, 109 Locust St.

The third annual exhibition of artwork by high school teachers, of which 11 have participated, is concurrently on view in The Commons of The Phipps.

A closing reception is Sunday, April 20, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. with a brief program at 2 p.m. during which this year’s judge, Kristin Makholm, director of the gallery at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, will address students and be available for questions.

Galleries hours are Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Sunday, noon-4:30 p.m., as well as one hour before and through intermission of all performances in The Phipps theaters.
