With the change in seasons comes the annual Willow River Spring Art Show.
Students from all six grades, K-5, will exhibit their work created around this year’s musical theme, “Take Note of Art.”
Throughout the year, Willow River music teacher Lindsey Andress and art teacher Ashley LaVick have worked together with students to create projects that reflect the theme of this year’s show.
In addition to art projects on display, the evening will also include a variety of musical performances.
Along with the work by students, the show also includes work by a variety of adult artists that will be for sale in a silent auction. Artists include Genie Castro, Mary Leikvold, Brooke Hipsher, Steve Johnson, Craig Seath, Sharon Schwarz and Paul Keller. There will also be a raffle and refreshments.
The event is coordinated by Castro and sponsored by the Willow River Parent Group. The annual art show is Friday night from 5-9 p.m. Parent volunteers assisted the students with their projects. For more information call (715) 338-6766.
