Mary Lou Pulse, 68, of Lakeland passed away Saturday, March 22.
She was born on July 8, 1939, in St. Paul to Ralph and Margaret (O’Leary) Pulse.
Mary graduated from St. Paul Cathedral grade school, Stillwater High School and St. Cloud State University. In 1966, she began work at Pedro’s Luggage as the head of airline luggage repairs; she then became a sales associate and was still working there.
Mary was a past president of the St. Paul Chapter of Business & Professional Women and had currently been the group’s historian. She also was a past member of the Lakeland City Council.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Lynda Pulse of Hudson and Judy (Tim) Dove of Houlton; nieces and nephews, Laura, Michelle and Shawn Ferrick, Chris (Stacy) Dove and Angie (Dan) Hatch; and many grand-nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mary is Thursday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 16770 13th St. S., St. Croix Beach, Minn., with Fr. Jerome Keiser officiating.
Visitation is one hour prior to Mass at church and was also Wednesday, April 9, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, (715) 386-3725, www.oconnellfuneralhomes.com.
