Milwaukee Bucks’ coach Larry Krystkowiak could find out this week if he’ll stay with the team next year.
He’s expected to meet soon with new General Manager John Hammond, who promises a quick decision.
Krystkowiak says he’d love to stay, but he’ll understand if, “I’m not the guy.”
Media reports say Hammond will pursue former Detroit and Indiana coach Rick Carlisle for the job.
Krystkowiak may coach his final home game tonight (Monday) when the Bucks host Chicago.
Milwaukee has lost six straight and they’re assured of having a losing record at the Bradley Center for the second straight year.
The Bucks are 19-21 at home where they lost to New Jersey on Saturday night.
The Bucks have now lost six straight.
They’ve only won four-of-their-last-23 and at 26-54 they have no chance of surpassing their 28-54 mark from a year ago when Krystkowiak coached the team to 13 losses in their final 17 games.
