Jerry Kelly of Madison jumped up 19 places to 49th in the new World Golf Rankings.

That’s after he tied for second Sunday at the PGA’s Memorial Tournament hosted by Jack Nicklaus.

Kelly also rose 19 spots to 29th in the PGA’s FedEx Cup season point standings.

Steve Stricker of Madison, who withdrew from the Memorial due to fatigue and a minor elbow injury, fell down both lists. He dropped one spot to seventh in the World Rankings and he slipped two places to 14th in the FedEx point totals.

Last week, Stricker said he needed time off to reinvigorate his game.

Pewaukee native Mark Wilson, who tied for 30th at the Memorial, still went down two spots to 121st in the new World Rankings and he remains 81st in the FedEx Cup rankings.

Kenny Perry, who won Sunday’s tournament, jumped 46 places in the world to 27th and rose 15 spots to fourth in the FedEx standings.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are still one-and-two in both.
