Memorial Day flags stolen
Someone stole 50 American flags from the grounds of the O'Connell Family Funeral home over Memorial Day weekend.
Someone stole 50 American flags from the grounds of the O'Connell Family Funeral home over Memorial Day weekend.
According to Tom O'Connell, the flags were taken sometime overnight on May 25. "We like to think they were taken for patriotic purposes. If not, it's a shame," said O'Connell earlier this week when he called to report the theft to the Star Observer.
