The St. Croix Valley Master Gardeners are hosting their annual plant sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Octagon House, located at Third and Myrtle streets.

Featured will be perennials and other plants from the gardens and homes of local master gardeners, along with variety and heirloom tomatoes. Master gardeners will be available to offer free gardening advice, help with plant selection, pest and disease information, gardening techniques and more. Compost bins and soil test kits will also be available.

Proceeds go toward the Master Gardener Community Grant program, which each year awards up to $300 to public beautification and educational programs in St. Croix and Pierce counties.

Those attending the sale are invited to stroll through the Octagon House yard to view the gardens or stop by the recently remodeled Museum Gift Shop to see all the new home and garden items in stock. The Octagon House Museum is open for walk-in tours Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
