UW System President Kevin P. Reilly last week appointed a 19-member search committee to help identify a new chancellor for UW-River Falls. Among the committee members are two Hudsonites, Associate Professor of Music Kristin Tjornehoj and Professor of Teacher Education José Vega.

Recently, Chancellor Don Betz announced that he will leave the campus at the end of June to become president of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

The committee is expected to recommend five candidates as finalists for consideration by Reilly.
