Letter: Disliked HSO story

I am absolutely appalled and disgusted with the article about Greg and Jeff Knoll that appeared in the Star-Observer (June 5 edition). I graduated from Hudson High School around the same time as both were there.

I knew each personally and remember them as nice guys who both had many friends. It is apparent neither had the picture-perfect life (whatever that may be) since high school, but your one-sided portrayal of them and focus only on the not-so-great points makes me sick.

Having lost around nine of my close friends from my 1985 graduation class, and even the loss of my own Dad at only 56 a few years ago, I can only imagine the heartbreak the remaining Knoll family members and friends are going through. Adding insult to injury is disgusting and I wonder what your point of the article was.

You should think long and hard before you write again, maybe trying to send a positive message even if the light is dim.
