CITY OF HUDSON: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Hudson, Wisconsin, in the City Hall at 505 Third Street, Hudson, Wisconsin, until 10 A.M., C.D.S.T., Thursday, July 3, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:

Hanley Road Pathway Improvements

In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities:

235 CY Common Excavation

345 TN Base Aggregate Dense 1-1/4”

85 TN HMA Pavement

80 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter

275 SF Concrete Pedestrian Ramp

1495 SF 4” Concrete Sidewalk

Along with miscellaneous utility adjustments, erosion control, restoration work, traffic control and related appurtenances.

Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them from the Issuing Office of Bonestroo, 2335 Highway 36 West, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50. Bidding Documents may be seen at the office of the City of Hudson and at the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents can also be purchased with a credit card over the internet at www.bonestroo.com.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
